I constructed the cabinet from a kit (PKOC-11) made by Arcade Depot. It's built to order, shipped flat-packed, and includes the parts needed to put it together: wood pins, glue, and reinforcing brackets. The kit I ordered is made of a high-grade plywood, oak veneered, stained and sealed.
When the kit arrived, the first thing I did was to "dry-fit" the pieces together in order to ensure that the kit was cut properly. There would be no worse problem than trying to perform a final assembly with glue drying, only to discover that it can't be done. Luckily, there were no problems.
The trickiest part of the cabinet was the planning and cutting of six holes in the cabinet's panels with a portable jigsaw: three exhaust fan holes, two air inlet holes, and a large hole for the coin door.
When you are ready to put the cabinet together, make sure that you have clamps ready to compress the pieces together as they dry. I can't speak from the experience of ''not'' having done this, but you definitely don't want to take any shortcuts.
